Piano Master Cyrus Chestnut Talks “Spirit”

Cyrus Chestnut’s piano playing is esoteric, spectacularly beautiful, and sometimes “out there” — incorporating jazz, gospel, and even a little pop. His new CD is called “Spirit.” Tony Cox speaks at length with piano master Cyrus Chestnut.

This week, Tara Wall and Michael Fauntroy join Tony Cox to talk about all that faces President Barack Obama in implementing his Afghanistan war strategy.
