Wunmi Goes Back To Her Roots On Latest Album

Born in London and raised in Nigeria, singer, songwriter and dance artist, Wunmi has been wowing music fans with her global blend of beats. She’s an independent artist, and Wunmi has worked with a string of producers and singers — including Masters at Work, Louie Vega, Jody Watley and vibes man, Roy Ayers.

In 2007, she stepped out on her own with her debut album, “A.L.A – Africans Living Abroad.” But for her second solo offering, Wunmi is taking her craft back to Africa with a project which has her fans at the center. She joins Tony Cox from Ghana’s capital, Accra.
